EVENTS:
“Build This House” Ball (2024) Developed and produced the first Ballroom Performance Art showcase and Ball at MOCA, the Museum of Contemporary Art.
Resource Fair mini Ball (2025) – an event to educate the community on available resources for housing, healthcare, and career building coupled with dance classes and a mini ball.
WORKSHOPS:
Build This House Workshops (2024) – In partnership with LA County’s Department of Public Health, Division of HIV (DHSP) and The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) we offered a Workshop Series focusing on HIV awareness and prevention, harm reduction, and building mental health tools for community and leadership.
Ballroom workshops and classes led by Legends, Icons and up-and-coming leaders, teaching the skills needed to walk and compete in a ball.
LEADERSHIP BUILDING:
Leadership dinner, sound bath meditation, and community building seminar for Ballroom House leaders in partnership with Moonwater Farm.
